Federation black belt tests are held twice per year at USK Martial Arts Ballantyne, the World Hanguk Tang Soo Do Federation headquarters.

Testing is coordinated through your affiliated school — speak with your instructor about eligibility and requirements
Students must meet minimum time-in-rank and curriculum requirements before testing
Testing typically includes hyung, sparring, breaking, and written/oral knowledge components
Testing begins at 8:00 AM at federation headquarters — arrive early in traditional formal Tang Soo Do uniform
Regular classes at all locations are cancelled on testing days
Family and guests are welcome to attend and watch
Results and rank credentials are processed through the federation following successful completion
